Indications for use:
Infusion for mild diarrhea.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to menthol, plants from the Larniacae family or any other ingredient. Do not give to children under 6 years.
Precautions for use:
Patients with gastro-esophageal reflux, heartburn, cholelithiasis and other bile duct diseases should take caution using peppermint leaf products. In case diarrhea lasts for longer than 3 days, recurs or blood is found in stool, consult a doctor.
Drug interactions and other interactions:
Due to the conent of tannins, which have an astringent effect on the mucosa, the product can weaken absorption of other medicine. Therefore the product should be taken 1 hour or longer before or after taking other medicine. Sage leaf can affect the efficacy of medicine acting through GABA receptors (e.g. barbiturates, benzodiazepine). Concomitant use with other medicine is thus not recommended.

Pregnancy and lactation:
Safety of use during pregnancy and lactation has not been determined. Due to lack of data, such use is not recommended.
Impact on ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
Sage leaf can affect the ability of sensitive patients to drive vehicles and operate machinery.
Posology and method of administration:
2 sachets, pour a glass of boiling water, brew while covered for 15-20 minutes.
Adults, elderly patients: drink infusion 2-4 times a day, depending on severity of diarrhea.
Adolescents and children over 6 years: Use half the adult dose.
Do not use for longer than 3 days.
Overdose:
None observed.
Dose omission:
Do not use double doses to supplement omitted doses.

Adverse effects:
Possible allergic reactions, gastro-intestinal symptoms (flatulence, nausea, vomiting), worsening of gastro-esophageal reflux and heartburn.

Storage:
Store closed in max. 25° C, keep away from children.
Do not use after expiry date.
Composition:
One sachet contains: 750 mg of Potentilla erecta (L.) Raeusch, rhizoma (tormentil rhizome), 625 mg Mentha x piperita L., folium (peppermint leaf), 375 mg Plantago afra L. or Plantago indica L., semen (psyllium seed), 375 mg Rubus fruticosus L., folium (blackberry leaf), 375 mg Salvia officinalis L., folium (sage leaf).
