Spasmolytics

Flatulence, also called meteorism or tympanites, is an increase in size and tension of the stomach, caused by the accumulation of gas under pressure in the bowels or peritoneum. Flatulence are characterised by a sensation of fullness and discomfort in the upper abdomen, along with an urgency to belch. The related passing wind is usually caused by swallowing air.

Flatulence is treated with products that stimulate the secretory activity of the stomach and liver, facilitating digestion and the absorption of food, have a spasmolytic effect and prevent flatulence and the sensation of fullness.
