Depression is a state of sorrow and discontentment, usually long-term. It can be a normal reaction to upsetting events or can be a symptom of a factual depressive disorder. Clinical depression is characterized by a feeling of hopelessness and a reaction of dejection and anxiety unproportional to the cause. Motor and mental activity is slowed down, it is difficult to focus, the patient is reproachful and accusatory towards themselves and loses respect for their own self.
Depression is treated with products which counteract depressive states and help maintain emotional balance.
